For far too long, I’ve been telling myself, “I need to get back to writing on my travel page.”
The truth is… life happened. Beautifully, unexpectedly, and in ways that changed my heart forever.
Since the days when I consistently shared our adventures, so much has gone on. Not all of it involved planes, trains, passports, or travel itineraries. Some of the greatest journeys happened right here at home, becoming “Nonnina” to five of the most beautiful and amazing little individuals: Savannah, James, Juliette, Violet, and Ethan. ❤️
Somewhere between family, life changes, responsibilities, and simply trying to keep up with the pace of it all, my travel page quietly sat waiting for me. Waiting for me to stop procrastinating. Waiting for me to realize the stories are still there… and there are so many new ones to tell.
And honestly? Our travels over the last few years deserve to be written about. The memories deserve more than just sitting in my iphone. From unforgettable places to moments that changed us, it’s time to start sharing again, along with updating old posts that were written during another chapter of life.
But now, this page means something even more to me.
I look at my granddarlings and dream about the day I can truly begin showing them the art of traveling. Not just seeing places… but absorbing culture, appreciating differences, listening to stories, tasting foods that are unfamiliar (okay this might be stretching it for kids) and understanding how beautifully big this world really is.
